On Wednesday, our local Councillors Helen Blackburn and Ross Sommerfield visited the school. Councillors Blackburn and Sommerfield spent time in each classroom in order to inspire students as they embark on their integrated units, which all have a Natural Disaster focus. Some students were a little disappointed to learn that the Hummock is a dormant volcano and won’t be erupting in their lifetime.
