A special chapel was held on Monday morning, 11 November to commemorate Remembrance Day. Marcus and Benji lowered the flags to half mast as a sign of respect. Councillor Helen Blackburn then shared the history of the Armistice and stirred our hearts with a short story of what it meant for Soldiers and families alike to hear that a peace treaty had been signed. Aden Cherry played a moving tribute on his trumpet which incorporated a minute of silence. A big thank you to Councillor Blackburn for visiting our school and sharing with us.
